ReadyCells® are a frozen, ready-to-use, version of Diagnostic HYBRIDS rapid culture systems with a proprietary medium in shell vials. ReadyCells® are designed to help minimize waste in small volume laboratories and to allow immediate access to cell overage for those unexpected surges in culture request for large volume laboratories. A unique, custom heat block is provided by Diagnostic HYBRIDS for a quick 4-minute thaw of up to 12 vials at a time under controlled conditions. This quick thaw results in ready-to-use cultures for viral and chlamydial diagnosis. ReadyCells® are shipped on dry ice, eliminating any shipping stress, and can be stored at -70°C or below in the laboratory until needed. Their long shelf life makes these cells ideal for international transport.

ReadyCells® Herpes & CMV System
ReadyCells HSV system will provide the laboratory with a complete system for rapid culture detection and typing of Herpes simplex 1 and 2 using frozen cell monolayers. With the combination of frozen Hs27 ReadyCells and HSV DFA, final results can be obtained as early as 24 hours. Cells are stable at -70° C for up to 6 months.
