Cell Lines

Diagnostic HYBRIDS offers many conventional monolayer cell line products for use in diagnosing and detecting viruses that cause human illness. FreshCellsTM Singles are available in tube format for conventional culture, and shell vial or cluster plates for centrifugation enhancement and rapid detection of viruses. FreshCellsTM Singles are also available with a variety of cell types in tubes, vials and different flask sizes.

  •  Super E-Mix™

Rapid isolation and identification of Enterovirus infections is essential for proper patient management.  Diagnostic HYBRIDS has used its Mixed Cell technology to combine an engineered BGMK cell line with hDAF (human Decay Acceleration Factor, a cellular receptor for multiple Enteroviruses) with A549 cells to allow a broad range of Enterovirus isolates to grow in a reduced time frame compared to traditional tube culture isolation.  Positive results are generally evident in one to three days after inoculation.
